Yeah, i'm not that fond of the scan either, but it was the easiest scan to extract and i was already feeling uber lazy after finishing the background :O

Here's my little secret. Instead of using a mousepad, I place a rough rug underneath the mouse. its a little hard at first, but once you get used to it, its easier to control the mouse. by making the mouse less wobbly and more stable with the use of "friction", its able to create shapes unlike no other. :)

GET RID OF TEH damn TEXTURE! LOL X3

trust me, i never use texture all over unless i need to.
the ONLy reason it's there, is because the scans had such a paper-painted texture, that when i put them in with the rest f the wall, it looked like paper people standing around. which in itself, could have been cool, but totally not what i was going for. so i found a similar texture, and put it on the rest of the wall to flatten it out and make it all cohesive.
without it, it looks like i fucked up big time lol

What I got to say about your wall is that you picked a scan that I past off as none detailed and uninteresting, but it is a good scan and has a lot of I guess Chaos in it? :) I love the lighnting and the city on fire in the bg, i=evrything looked realy cool good job!

XD I'll only be repeating what everyone else has already said. This wallpaper is simply beautiful. I have another question for you. How long have you been drawing? I'm curious to know since I'm starting to get myself into drawing again. Got any pointers besides the ole "practice practice and some more practice" XD? I love the whole idea. As for the drawing bit, I find it helpful to look at many examples of references pertaining to whatever it is you're drawing. For this piece, I looked at some stock photos of trees and rocky cliffs to get a general idea of what I wanted. Once you get a mental image going, it's pretty much all downhill from there.
